Wow, the cost of childcare....

So, since I started a new job we have decided to look into daycare for a few days a week so that we don't have to work opposite schedules... we will already be doing that on the weekends as it is. I want to see my family so that just won't work. 

I can see, after making a few phone calls etc, that if you have more than 1 child it can be cost prohibitive to have your children in daycare--that is unless you make a lot of money.. doing the math, if we have the kids in daycare 2 days I would have to work 3 days each week to break even, then we might still have to pay someone to watch the kids on the weekend.. if i worked full time and had the kids in daycare 3 days a week, I would only bring home just over $300 total.. doesn't hardly seem right you know... all that work, missing the kids, and very little  money to show for it...


still looking into other options.....

Sleep deprivation.... and walking..

I can't wait until Noah sleeps through the night.. Oh, and Katelyn decides that she isn't going to wake up when mommy is going to sleep.. What was I thinking, trying to get a job. Which, by the way, I did get. So, I will be starting work on Thursday next week, working 2 days a week. Should be fun with no sleep--don't you think... 

Katelyn is doing a lot more walking.. she starts our walking now then will crawl, but she can get across a room and into another before she gives up. Then she gets back up and does it all again.. 

It is about time.. she has been on the verge of walking for months now.. 

Noah is chatty, smiley, and giggly. not much new in his world.

Noah is 3 months..

Wow! How time flies by.. Noah is already 3 months old and big sister Katelyn is 17 months old. I look back at the pictures from Katelyn's birth and look at her now and see how big she is. 

Noah has grown so much too..  

They are such a joy. Katelyn is always exploring and making us smile. She is walking more.. soon it will be her favored mode of transport, but crawling is still faster.. 

Noah is smiling and laughing when he sees me, it is quite cute.. 

I am truly blessed to have the family I have..
